Norfolk families can expect a pre-historic Christmas this December as a Triassic winter wonderland arrives at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade from Saturday 1 December.
Bringing more festive cheer than ever before, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure has invited local theatre groups to perform carols every Saturday 11am-3pm.
Snow will fall from the Dinomite Indoor Play Area treating visitors to a guaranteed white Christmas.
Every weekend throughout December Santa’s little helpers and a few dinosaurs can step into the magical world of Narnia through C.S. Lewis’s enchanted wardrobe into the Lost Maze, at the family-owned award-winning theme park.
Families will be able to visit Santa in his fossil-filled grotto and make a wooden Christmas decoration to take home or leave for the man himself, as well as take part in Christmas crafts in the Secret Animal Garden. Dippy’s Disco Dancing will be in the Dinomite Indoor Play Area where Dippy himself will be moving and shaking to Christmas songs with the help of some reptilian friends.
Not only will Norfolk’s explorers be able to celebrate the season with Santa’s elves, but life sized dinosaurs and other reptiles will be on hand to guide them along the festive-themed Dinosaur Trail to find hidden candy canes.
We also have oversized tinsel Baubles and decorations for the driveway and trail, new Christmas trees including a yellow and purple one for Dippy and a 7 metre tree going at the park entrance!
Families will also be able to ride through the park on a festive-themed horse and cart on 8th – 9th and 15th – 16th December.
Adam Goymour, park manager at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure said: “We’re excited to welcome even more intrepid explorers to release their inner dinosaur this Christmas. Visitors can also expect special festive activities throughout December as we count down to Christmas.”
An additional £6.95 will be charged to meet Santa in his grotto which includes a special gift from Dippy and the team at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure.
The winter wonderland will be open for 1st – 2nd, 8th – 9th, 15th – 16th and 19th – 24th December and tickets can be bought online HERE
