Dippy’s resolutions for 2019 at Norfolk adventure park
A New Year always provides optimism and allows us to set our hopes and aspirations for the next 12 months.
At Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, we are no different. But instead of telling you about all of our exciting plans straight away – we thought we would get Dippy thinking about his New Year’s resolutions.
After a busy first couple of weeks, we finally sat down with him after Disco Dancing to Baby Shark and riding the slides in ‘Dinomite’ Indoor Play.
We have now managed to get him to reveal his dino-secrets for the year ahead!
Conquer the tall vertical drop slide: As we sat down with Dippy in ‘Dinomite’ Indoor Play, his first thought was to attempt to conquer one of his fears. Braving the tallest vertical drop slide! Dippy often helps boys and girls overcome their fears and try out the slide – but he really wants to try it himself before the year is out!
Learn some new dance routines: Let’s face it, he can’t always boogie to Baby Shark! After learning to floss in 2018, he is already excited for the new crazes to start. Maybe we should teach him La Macarena or Cha Cha slide next!
Have less screen time – instead of playing on computer games or watching Jurassic Park on the big screen, Dippy wants to get exploring more in the year ahead. Meeting his friends in the Dinosaur Trail and also enjoying the Neanderthal Walk and Lost Maze are top of the agenda.
Purchase some new swimming trunks – thought is already turning to Summer and Dippy is keen to purchase some spotty trunks to wear in his Splash Zone. Will he brave the large bucket though?
Celebrate all the park events in style – whether it be Fantasy February, Egg-cellent Easter, Dino’s at Night, Dippy’s Birthday Week, Halloween Days or Christmas Celebration – Dippy is keen to bring a real celebration to each of the events with exciting activities and attractions for all ages to enjoy.
Meet more dinosaurs – Dippy has a lot of dino-friends at the park, but there are a lot more to meet and spend time with. Couple of games of FIFA maybe? He wants to try and memorise the names of more dinosaurs too!
Eat more salad – a dinosaur diet can vary depending on the species. But Dippy is keen to take a trip to The Explorers and sample some of the salad options – along with the popular Fish & Chips!
High five as many guests as possible – there is nothing Dippy likes more than meeting new guests at the park, along with some familiar faces. So he has made resolution number 8 to high five as many people as possible during the year ahead.
Enjoy days out from the park – Dippy is keen to visit some of our local holiday parks and attend all of his favourite carnivals and charity events across the area. Make sure to say hi if you see him.
Practice running for mascot races – our beloved mascot has his eye on a new sprint record time of about 20 minutes! With some fitness training planned, Dippy is sure to be up on the podium in no time!
