Day in the Life of Fantasy February during Half Term in Norfolk

With our Fantasy February event well underway, we are introducing another of our popular ‘Day in the Life’ blog posts.

We will talk you through what you can expect throughout the day and some handy tips and pointers for you to enjoy a ROARR-some adventure with all the family.

Before you leave for your adventure, make sure you dress the children up in full fantasy fancy dress, to then obtain 50% off their gate admission price. This offer does not apply for online purchases and further T’s and C’s apply.

When you arrive at the park, be sure to look out for our colourful shields as you make your way up the driveway.

Will you opt for #teamunicorn, #teamtroll, #teamfairy or #teamdragon?

Once you have selected your team, look out for themed challenges and designated photo points around the park – and be sure to tag the best photographs on social media.

After proceeding through admissions, why not purchase some tickets for our workshops in partnership with Fairyland Trust.

At just £1 per child, there is the opportunity to make butterflies in the morning (10.30am-12.15pm) and bug bling in the afternoon (1.30pm-3.15pm).

The workshops will be held in Dippy’s, with magical fairy dust and glitter all part of the fun and games – please note the workshops are not suitable for under 3’s.

Next up is our fantasy trail – which is set to prove popular for all ages. Hidden around Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure are the letters to make up two of our teams, UNICORN and TROLL. Can you locate where the letters are hidden to spell one of the words? Or even both?

With the warm weather set to continue, there is plenty to explore down at our Secret Animal Garden.

From 12.30pm-1pm, our very own magical forest fairy Witchettygrub has flown into the Animal Encounters Barn and will be reading short magical stories. Come along and listen to one of them, or make yourself comfortable and listen to them all.

We also have a number of Animal Encounters taking place throughout the day, including Good Morning Pigs, Guinea Pig Petting, Creepy Crawlies, Snake Encounter, Meet the Dragons, Tortoise Time and Ferret Fun.

There is also the chance to meet our beloved mascot Dippy from 11.15am in Dinomite Indoor Play.

Make sure you stop off for a drink and a bite to eat at one of our fine eateries around our 85-acre park.

You can enjoy some delicious fish & chips from The Explorers steampunk themed restaurant, or maybe a takeaway option from Nautilus.

There’s even some new menu options for Dinomite Cafe – make sure you pay a visit and experience it for yourselves.

We have also been featured in national press coverage, along with some valued reviews from Any Way To Stay At Home, #100 Days No TV and plenty more.
