Families from across East Anglia are set to experience a magical and truly roarr-some festive wonderland at Norfolk attraction, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, with its Dippy’s Christmas Celebration event open from 28th November – running every weekend until 20th December, with a final week of celebrations from 21st to 24th December 2020.
With the most Instagram-able Christmas tree in East Anglia, an abundance of sparkling lights and a traditional family-friendly Christmas atmosphere, visitors will be captivated by the park’s festive charm.
Guests can expect the dinosaurs to be spreading festive cheer all over the 85-acre park, based in Lenwade, as well as a specially designed candy cane trail, with the chance to win a prize, live Dippy shows with Christmas carols, plenty of dancing and a new addition for 2020 – the Magical Present room. Designed for children only, for a small charge they can pick a gift for parents or loved ones and the elves will help with the wrapping, ready for the big day.
In a socially distanced and Covid-secure environment, Father Christmas’ Grotto Experience is available for pre-booked time slots throughout Dippy’s Christmas Celebration event, where a new one-way pathway has been created. You will get to meet the whole team of elves, and be transported to the North Pole, make friends with Mrs Christmas and venture into rooms normally only allowed for the eyes of Elves! Once at the grotto children receive a golden ticket from Father Christmas to exchange into a gift of their choice and a digital copy of a photo with the man himself.
As well as plenty of activities, guests can purchase tasty treats and beverages around the park including yule logs, mince pies and there’s an opportunity to spot the gingerbread house in the Dinomite Café.
Adam Goymour, company director at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure said: “After everything we’ve all been through this year, we’re really excited to open Dippy’s Christmas Celebration, spread some magic and give our guests an experience to get excited about. With so many events in the area getting cancelled and children losing out on the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, we’re glad we have the appropriate measures in place to be able to give kids that joyous experience.
“We’re always challenging ourselves to create new and novel experiences, which entertain and ensure families have a memorable and enchanting time at the park. There’s plenty to do and it’s really not an experience to miss!”
The Christmas Celebration at the park is open from 10am – 4pm on 28th and 29th November; 5th and 6th December; 12th and 13th December; 19th and 20th December; 21st-24th December inclusive.
