Families across East Anglia can expect a pre-historic Christmas this December as a ‘dinosaur themed’ winter wonderland arrives at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure in Lenwade.
Bringing more festive cheer than ever before, we have invited local theatre groups to perform carols every Saturday 11am-3pm.
Snow will fall from outside the Dinomite Indoor Play Area on the hour, every hour, treating visitors to a guaranteed white Christmas – with the Christmas Celebration event beginning on Saturday 1 December.
Santa’s little helpers and a few dinosaurs can step into the magical world of Narnia through C.S. Lewis’s enchanted wardrobe into the Lost Maze, at the family-friendly theme park.
Guests can then experience four different scenes from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe – with the chance to explore and discover during the festive period.
Christmas music will be playing and plenty of decorations can be enjoyed by all! Come and enjoy the festive walkthrough between 10am and 4pm each day during our Christmas Celebration.
Families will be able to visit Santa in his grotto between 11am and 3pm, as well as take part in Christmas crafts in the Secret Animal Garden where children can make a wooden decoration to take home or leave for the man himself.
The craft sessions will take place between 12.30pm and 1pm and also between 3pm and 3.30pm.
Back by popular demand is Dippy’s Disco Dancing – which will again take place in the Dinomite Indoor Play Area. Come and take part as Dippy will be moving and dancing to Christmas songs. This can be enjoyed at 11.30am every day during our Christmas Celebration.
Also in Dinomite, guests can get their faces painted between 11am and 2.45pm. Reindeer, snowman, Santa, elf – the festive opportunities are endless!
Not only will Norfolk’s explorers be able to celebrate the season with Santa’s elves, but life sized dinosaurs and other reptiles will be on hand to guide them along the festive-themed Dinosaur Trail.
And what’s more, we are also introducing our Candy Cane Trail – for everyone to find hidden candy canes around the park – available between 10am and 4pm.
At the top section of the park, close to the admission gates and Base Camp: Sales & Supplies you can experience a magical Christmas track – including a 7 metre high tree and decorations. There may even be some oversized bauble decorations on our driveway!
Make sure you pay a visit to one of our fine eateries to feed your inner raptor! Dinomite Café is offering a Christmas menu, with some of the options including Brie and Beetroot Tart, Chicken, Ham and Cranberry Sourdough Toastie, French Toast, Mulled Wine, Mince Pie & Chocolate Yule Log.
Owned by the Goymour family since 2006, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, which rebranded in 2018, previously Dinosaur Adventure, attracts over 300,000 visitors a year.
Ben Francis, park events manager at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure said: “We’re excited to welcome even more intrepid explorers to release their inner dinosaur this Christmas.
Visitors can also expect special festive activities throughout December as we count down to Christmas.”
An additional £6.95 will be charged to meet Santa in his grotto which includes a special gift from Dippy and the team at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure.
The winter wonderland will be open for 1st – 2nd, 8th – 9th, 15th – 16th and 19th – 24th December and tickets can be bought online HERE
