Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is situated within 85 acres of a beautiful and natural woodland setting and endeavours to create a fun park and facilities accessible to all our guests.
Access in the Park
Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is, in part, located on a hillside so access to the lower part of the park is best taken through the Dinosaur Trail, which has a lower gradient and avoids the steeper hills.
It is recommended that unaccompanied wheelchair users do not do this area without assistance.
Path surfaces are either tarmac or crushed and rolled stone.
The attraction consists of two indoor play areas, Dinomite, and Dippy-ville for younger children. Outdoor adventure play facilities, Raptor Racers, Dippy’s Splash Zone, Predator High Ropes, Dinosaur Trails, Secret Animal Garden, Deer Safari, a Gift Shop and Food & Beverage outlets.
Further information on the park can be found online and in our printed leaflets. If you would like an A3 photocopied version, please ask any member of crew or telephone Guest Services 01603 876310.
Crew members can be identified by their name badge/company uniform. All crew at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure will be happy to help in any way they can, so please ask for any required assistance.
When the expedition breaks for lunch, pull out your pack-up and settle down in one of our picnic areas. Don’t worry if the sun isn’t shining, tiny dinos won’t go hungry. We’ve an indoor room near the entrance to keep the weather off everyone’s heads. And Dippy’s Snack Shack is just opposite, just in case you want to finish off with an ice cream or a hot coffee.
If you’ve a packed car with no room for a pushchair or you’ve been thinking about dinosaurs instead of what’s in the boot, don’t panic. It can be a long walk round the park for small children, but don’t worry – we have strollers available for hire so that no one misses out on the fun. So no one gets left behind (and there’s somewhere for a nifty nap) our strollers are available as follows: Single stroller: £8 Double stroller: £11 We do ask for credit/debit card details to be left as security during the period of the hire. These are returned to you after the hire period.
Need somewhere to put your pack? Find lockers for bags, shoes and other items in the Dinomite indoor play area. You’ll need £1 but it’s refundable. For soak-seekers, there are lockers nect to Dippy’s Spash Zone. These waterproof lockers also need £1 but it’s non-refundable. NOTE: Visitor lockers will be out of action until further notice
We are pleased to offer visitors the opportunity to hire a mobility scooter. Hire Price: £10 (Per Day) On your arrival, a crew member will spend a few minutes briefing you on the handling and controls of the mobility scooter. You will then be asked to sign a disclaimer. These are in limited supply so are offered on a first come, first served basis. We also offer visitors the free use of a manual wheelchair. All we ask is for credit or debit card details to be left as security during the period of the loan. These are returned to you after the loan period. Daily Stroller hire is also available. Singles £8 Doubles £11 Guests are able to hire these by contacting Guest Services on 01603 876310 to pre-book.
Post a selfie without using your data – we’ve spots around the park set up for getting on-line. Please check out the park map as you arrive.
Baby changing and food warming
We’ve everything you need to make sure the smallest members of the pack are happy. You’ll find changing facilities in the Dinomite indoor play area and next to the The Explorers Restaurant. And if you need to warm food for tiny teeth, the Dinomite Cafe and The Explorers Restaurant have equipment you can use.
We have restricted the number of toilets to ensure social distancing is applied. Please ensure you wash your hands before entering and when departing. Please use face coverings in this enclosed area.
Find help when you need it opposite Dippy’s indoor picnic area. There’s also a defibrillator inside the entrance to Dinomite.
We’re a non-smoking park. For the health and comfort of everyone, please only use designated areas marked on the map. This also includes the use of e-cigarettes.
You’ll need socks for the Dinomite play area and the larger blue and red drop slides require riders to have their arms and legs covered with long sleeves and trousers. Dippy also wants everyone to have fun in his Splash Zone, so get kitted up and keep everyone safe. Swim nappies are a must for little ones, which you can get from our Base Camp if you’ve been caught out and the shop also has towels and t-shirts for older adventurers.
We’ve plenty to keep the herbivores happy at our watering holes, along with gluten-free options for sensitive tummies. Food allergies don’t need to be a mammoth problem. Whether you’re arranging a day out or a birthday party, call us in advance on 01603 876310 to talk to us about your specific needs.
Ear defenders require a £10 returnable deposit.
